Sadly upcoming Bachelorette contestant Eric Hill died in a paragliding accident in Utah Wednesday.
Funeral Services for 32-year-old Eric Jonathon Hill were held Saturday, April 26th at 10:00 a.m. at the Cottonwood LDS Stake Center in Murray, Utah on 1830 E. 6400 S. He and his family were Mormon.

The family laid Eric to rest yesterday and spoke with ABC 4 Utah’s Brian Carlson on Friday.
Brother Darren Hill said:
“We never expected to lose a brother.”
“He did a lot of, he did a lot of crazy things. We almost like prepped ourselves for that phone call, for him getting hurt just because of the nature of what he did, but nothing prepares you, nothing prepares you to lose a brother, especially so young, especially when there was so much life.”
That is the truth. Eric had actually been base jumping aka speed flying all over the world.
Brother Scott Hill said this:
“We got to see a lot of his really close friends visit him in the hospital and that was just incredible, for me, these guys became my family.”
Friends also commented on Eric’s life:
“He was an awesome friend, a great person and found love in everything,” said Dan Spirgen, friend.
“He’s always so fun and just the life of the party,” said Catlin O’Hara, friend.
There was an online obituary created for Eric but I don’t think this is an official obituary put out by the family yet.
Eric was originally from Citrus Heights, California.
Reality Steve claims that Eric left the show under unusual circumstances so how will ABC handle this?

eric, oh eric eric eric.. from the day you came out of the limo, i just fell head over heels. your first date with andi was amazing and there was just so much chemistry there. you are by far my favorite contestant. i know you cant read this but im going to say it anyway.. God put you on this earth to live an adventrue, and you are known as one of the most bravest people not only to me but to everyone who knows you. i really looked forward to you finding the love of your life eric. maybe god took you for the right reasons and hopefully you meet someone in heaven to explore with and live to seek lifes adventures.
