Season 10 Bachelorette Recap Episode 5

Sooooo tonight the crew heads to France and in the words of Penny Farthing “some things happened”, but only a few seem worth mentioning in the recap.

One, Nick Viall has a S-E-R-I-O-U-S case of “resting bitchy face”. Andi seems to be really in to him, but I’m not sure why. He’s kind of acting like a spoiled brat. Did he not read the Bachelorette syllabus before he began filming that said she’d be dating several other dudes?

I understand that under normal circumstances having your girlfriend date a whole bunch of other guys would not be Ok, but this is a show that has to fill 9 episodes!!!

There was a group date which I barely remember. Something about miming. But it felt a bit forced. I just remember J.J. was pretty cute and animated and I was soooo glad he was not an old man, but the other guys just bombed!

The group date featured mime performances by:

Marcus, Dylan, Chris, Cody, JJ, Marquel, Nick, Patrick and Andrew

Nick was called out for being arrogant and having resting bitchy face.

There was some sort of minor drama with Andrew again and his big mouth. He made a racial slur at Marquel. But the guys handled it like adults and the situation did not blow up in to anything big.

But I was too consumed with how bitchy Andrew is to be offended by the particular slur. He’s an odd bird. I can’t quite put my finger on it. He is certainly cute enough, but he, like Nick, is just really bitchy for a guy–must be enneagram 3s. They are always the divas.

Tonight Andi finally got a 1-on-1 with hot Josh Murray! These two obviously have some serious chemistry and we have been dying to see the two with some serious face to face time.

This reminds me of Sean Lowe’s season where we never saw Catherine Giudici until the final episode!

Josh talked a lot about wanting to start a family and about how important his family is to him and if you have read any of our other posts you know that that is an understatement!

Andi takes Josh on a boat ride, a dinner in a palace and a private concert–your basic first 1-on-1.

Needless-to-say Andi is STILL hot for the pro baseball player and Josh gets a rose.

She then gets the most awkward 1 on 1 with Trinity High School assistant basketball coach Brian Osborne. Last week Andi was super hot for Brian and his superior basketball skills.

But this week Brian was obviously out of his element in France. The two went on a cooking date which was really just painful to watch.

Brian you are GREAT at basketball but you have GOT to work on your dating skills!

Luckily even though coach fumbled this time he was saved for another round.

Patrick, Marquel and Andrew get the boot. Last week it was Tasos. This week, Marquel stole the show with some real tears. Hopefully ABC will usher him over to Bachelor in Paradise pad where e can find love in a mere 6 weeks!

All I can say is these three guys will have NO problems finding girlfriends. P.S. I’m sure Andrew called the waitress as soon as ABC returned his cell phone.
