Tonight the 10-episode season of The Bachelor Canada 2014 aired and we officially got to meet Toronto entrepreneur Tim Warmels, and his 25 amazing ladies!
Tim weighed in on the heart-pounding experience and first night jitters in his blog.
“It was a clear night with a perfect
full moon as I stood waiting for the limos to arrive. Everything was in place and all I had to do was say, “Hi,” yet I found myself barely able to manage this simple greeting.
My heart was pounding through my chest as the driver cut the engine on the first limo. Simply put, I was overwhelmed – and for good reason. I was greeted by an amazing group of bachelorettes that included every personality type, along with everything from shots of whiskey to confetti guns! Yes, confetti guns.
It was an unforgettable night. Some things stood out for me in particular…

The seashell from Sachelle, so that I’d remember her name, and the fact that she wasn’t afraid to be completely honest and let me know she had just purchased it at some shop down the road.
I also received a special prescription from a doctor on how to brave the night. Renée-Anne was so nice, and knew this would be hard for me too, which was really comforting.
And then the big bang… April Borgnetta literally made me jump with her confetti guns!
The toast was really special. It was my first chance to talk to everyone together and say what was truly in my heart. It rattled my nerves seeing that many amazing women all at once.
And then Night 1 began…

Ultimately, my decisions at the rose ceremony were made based on with whom I thought there was a possibility of developing a connection. This wasn’t easy by any means, knowing how much everyone had sacrificed to be there for a chance at love.”
