Dorinda Medley, 50 is the latest character to join The Real Housewives of New York City season 7 as a friend of both LuAnn de Lesseps and Ramona Singer. She will be replacing Aviva Dresser, and she has a very interesting back story and some really high profile connections.
Dorinda was born Dorinda Cinkala on December 13th, 1964 and brought up in the Berkshires in Great Barrington, Massachusetts. She attended the liberal arts school Franklin & Marshall College in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.
According to our sources Dorinda’s 1st husband was Ralph Lynch, 52 Investment Banker (now he is married to Shelly Tretter Lynch) and Dorinda has a 21-year-old daughter with Ralph, Hannah Danger Lynch.

She moved to London to be with Ralph where she started her own cashmere company, DCL Cashmere. Her company catered to many high-profile London clients like Princess Diana and Joan Collins.
She continued to live in London for 10 years until she and Lynch divorced, at which time she sold her company, and moved to New York City.
In 2005, Dorinda was working as a real estate broker in NYC and met another very high profile man — Richard Medley while helping him find a townhouse. Medley was former partner to global billionaire George Soros and chief economist for the US House Banking Committee.

While she was with Medley they worked on fund-raising for causes with Desmond Tutu, Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie, and Hillary Clinton—-being associated to Clinton and the Clinton Foundation may not be the best thing right now.
Anyway, Medley died in 2011 after a brief illness.
