Ian Thompson, 28 was quite situation last Monday night on The Bachelorette. I don’t think anyone was expecting him to be “that guy”,…… but he was. He was the arrogant, self-absorbed, patronizing, pompous, puffed up, Princeton-educated, egotistical ass.
He definitely destroyed any chances of becoming the next Bachelor despite mentioning his availability to lead the show multiple times.
So anyhow, I was really curious to hear what Bachelorette Kaitlyn Bristowe would say about her charming suitor after Monday’s tantrum. Here is an excerpt from her People blog:
“Just when things were looking up, Ian stepped in and threw me for a loop. Oh Ian!! Logically, I knew what being the Bachelorette would entail, but in reality it was tougher navigating the guys’ feelings than I ever could have predicted.”
Remember how Ian said his ex was hotter?
“I don’t think Kaitlyn can handle the truth. She’s not half as hot as my ex-girlfriend.”
Kaitlyn continues:
“And I certainly never could have anticipated a guy feeling the need to insult my looks like Ian choose to do. Ouch. And I’m shallow? As a woman – no, as a person – that is hurtful to hear. And completely unnecessary. I understood Ian’s frustration; after all I’ve been in his shoes. But it was a hurtful, unwarranted comment. And this coming from a man who felt the need to explain that he has no trouble getting women to sleep with him back home.”
Everyone knows you ever insult a woman’s looks and why/how could you insult Kaitlyn’s?
And remember Ian’s comments about getting girls?
“Kaitlyn just seems like she wants to make out with a bunch of people and have a good time. I’m not here just to have a good time. I have a good time in my own life, and I meet chicks, and I have a lot of sex in my own life.”
Wow! Not the thing to share on camera! I’m guessing you will be getting a lot less sex now!
Kaitlyn goes on to say:
“Honestly, the more I got to know Ian, the more arrogant I realized he was. Yes, he’s very intelligent, and I respect his opinions. I also believe in honest and open communication. But the accusatory way in which he confronted me was downright nasty and designed to hurt me. And it did hurt me.”
I can not wait to see Kaitlyn deal with this situation tomorrow night!

Ian hit the nail on the head about her. His arrogance overshadowed his statements though.
