Lisa Vanderpump confronts Jax Taylor about his arrest

When Jax Taylor returns from Hawaii he is forced to confront his boss Lisa Vanderpump who appears very unhappy with Jax (although it’s hard to imagine that she is not celebrating how fabulous the arrest will be for ratings–it’s a weird dichotomy with Lisa. She pretends that she is rooting for these kids, but the show hinges upon their willingness to self-destruct.)

Anyhow Jax goes over to Lisa’s where Lisa blasts him for getting arrested. Jax tries to make excuses blaming it on alcohol, but Lisa points out the number of people that get drunk but do not steal.

Obviously Jax is quite a situation for Lisa. Let’s be honest. If this was real life Jax would have been fired by Lisa a long time ago, but thankfully Lisa needs a train wreck like Jax to continue working at SUR to continue promoting her show to continue promoting her business. Jax knows this. He knows the more trouble he gets in, the more valuable he becomes as a character on her show.

But Lisa has to pretend that she is appalled by his behavior.

In her blog she says,

“Before I came down the stairs, I was thinking, “Jax really needs some tough love.” And I think I’m probably the person in Los Angeles that can give it to him.”

“I kind of believed Jax when he said he was repenting, when he was in front of me, but now I see the footage from before, when he’s minimizing it, I’m not so happy about that.”

You are only just “now” seeing the footage?

In regards to what the other cast members are thinking she says,

“Everybody is just salaciously chewing this fat about Jax getting arrested.

“James is loving this. You can see it in his eyes. More than anything, this is the best news James could ever have.”

“This pisses me off watching this because there he goes, trying to minimize it. You should own it and realize the severity of the situation.”
