Conspiracy alert — Craig Conover passed the BAR exam?!!
It was shocking last season to learn from the show that not only had Craig not taken the BAR, but he was not even an eligible candidate because he had not even graduated from Law school!!
So this was the theme of the show last season. And this storyline is still going strong in season 4 of the show taped a few months ago. Cut to present day and not only has Craig somehow found time to complete his thesis but he has also found time to study for the very rigorous test–and apparently he studied his ass off because he just announced that he “passed” the exam.
Am I suggesting conspiracy? HELL YES! Something is wrong with this picture!
I don’t mean to rain on Craig’s parade, but on season 4 aka a few months ago we see his girlfriend Naomi Olindo and Craig’s friends seriously worried about the trajectory of his life since he still has not completed his thesis or really even started studying for the BAR. Craig is clearly scattered and unfocused. He claims he wants to start his real estate empire and a clothing line. Naomi is frustrated that Craig has done little at this point to get ready for the BAR.
So I find it very difficult to believe that Craig pulled it together in such a short time to not only write an extensive legal thesis but also to study for the BAR!!! He took the BAR on February 21st or 22nd. So literally the minute after SC finished taping Craig started studying and took the BAR 10 minutes later.
I’m not exactly sure when season 4 started taping, but Snowden had her baby in September prior to the start. So taping could not have begun until October at the earliest and likely continued for about 3 months leaving Craig one month to write the 50 page thesis and study for and take the exam.
Not to mention one week prior to the BAR Craig was skiing in Utah. I’m sure no one else who took the BAR had a second to waste skiing days before the big test.
And if you think that trip was an anomaly, you are wrong. He was skiing in Park City Utah in January as well.
And found time to throw down for New Years.
And he found time to train and run the New York marathon.
Interestingly his girlfriend Naomi notes that studying for the BAR exam would be a ‘full-time job’ for anyone, thus Craig’s scattered focus on numerous unrelated projects is asinine.
So what is the conspiracy? I think Craig cut a deal. For one thing his law school changed hands and became private which Craig admits is one thing that ‘helped’ him.
Why was he prevented from taking the BAR when the school was public?
For another Craig’s sudden interest in father’s rights on the whim advice of a law professor is out of character. Let’s be honest, Craig is not interested in philanthropy. He is not going to Law school so he can go into the very stressful and less than lucrative family law practice. Craig is in Law school to make money!
I think he was given an “opportunity” if he agreed to continue to shill for some global charities which claim to represent the “best interests of children”. I also would not be surprised if Craig will pursue a career in politics on their behalf.
Needless-to-say his castmates have been congratulating Craig online:
His girlfriend, Naomie Olindo, wrote on Instagram, “Can’t believe this cutie passed the BAR!!! Well I can…but still excited.”
Ha! I think she genuinely is telling the truth.
And Shep Rose, wrote, “I’ve been in transit all day but I just found out that my friend @C_Conover passed the bar exam. Very happy to hear it; proud of the guy.”
Really Shep? that’s all you have to say, “proud of the guy”? Let’s be honest if Craig had actually done such a dramatic 180 Shep and everyone else would be beside themselves with excitement. I think they know something is wrong with this picture!
Yeah I know it sounds crazy, but the truth is always stranger than fiction and we all know some attorneys who seemed to glide right through the process without an ounce of effort who always find their way into important high-profile gigs–usually political–and I definitely consider the BIG multi-billion-dollar business of global non-profits “political”.
And when I looked into South Carolina’s reputation regarding the BAR exam passage rates I discovered a trail of corruption. Here’s a story in FITS about it.
“FITS has exposed multiple scandals in the judicial branch over the years – including manipulation of the state’s bar exam to raise passage rates and rampant corruption within the court’s attorney discipline division.”
The bottom line is someone somewhere in SC has the power to christen the BAR candidate with a “PASS” and that someone can be paid off or coerced in some way.
Craig has been aggressively shilling for this global NGO. I’m sure they could use a handsome faced attorney to do their bidding. Before you attack me for suggesting this and other big “relief” charities could be giant cesspools of money laundering recall the story of Wyclef Jean and his Haitian “relief” charity?
So watch for Craig to appear on a slew of step-and-repeats for charity events related to social “injustice”. And look for Craig to suddenly crave a career in politics.
I also think the ‘deal’ will eat away at Craig who is already prone to addiction. In fact Craig seems a bit mentally unstable this season, indulging in rather bizarre delusions of grandiosity. So look for some more of self-destructive Craig to appear….perhaps even a psychotic break.
You made a deal with the devil Craig. And the devil always comes to collect.
I’m sorry, I just find it beyond belief that this is really what it claims to be. I suspect there are a lot of BAR candidates in South Carolina that are confounded and suspicious of this big news and are also doing the math.
