Ok, to start, Clare Crawley is engaged. The question is…to whom.
When things went south on Bachelor Winter Games with 34-year-old Christian Rauch, Clare lamented about sending Benoît Beausejour-Savard home saying that he was the one she should have picked. And guess what? We have not seen the last of the 30-year-old Montreal Maître D’. He will return tonight on the Tell All episode with a present for Clare…an engagement ring!
Yep Benoit gets down on one knee to propose to the 36-year-old Sacramento hairstylist.
In the sneak peek from the World Tells All special, airing tonight at 10 p.m., Chris Harrison sits down with Clare and she reveals that she began a relationship off-camera with someone.
“The second I got back to Sacramento, checked my phone and I had a message from a guy,” ….Timing was so off, but it was so perfect for me because it was a man that just cared about if I was OK.”
It’s not entirely clear if said mystery man is Benoit, but if it isn’t things are gonna get real awkward because the man is in the audience And Chris Harrison asks him to stand up.
I have hope for Benoit. Why? Because if he is indeed proposing to Clare it suggests that the two have been hanging off-camera.
Surely he would not be bold enough to just show up with an engagement ring if the only time they had together was one solitary date.
And producers are teasing the “engagement” plot twist on Twitter. And we already know it’s not Kevin or Ashley I since Kevin is getting cold feet. So I am optimistic that these two will seal the deal tonight!!
Clare left us this little tease on Instagram about her relationship with Benoit.
“We shared an experience like no other, that NOBODY would understand unless you were there. Yes you all get to see a GLIMPSE of it all, but nothing compared to the long hours and sleepless nights that we spent gaming, laughing and living our lives to the fullest together!”
UPDATE: The couple is indeed officially engaged! Congratulations Clare and Benoit!!
The Bachelor Winter Games finale airs tonight at 8 p.m., followed by the World Tells All special at 10 p.m., on ABC.
