Astrid Loch and Kevin Wendt were the couple that flew under the radar on this season of Bachelor In Paradise. The couple rarely fought and rarely doubted their fledgling relationship. Neither was tempted by any of the new arrivals. It seemed inevitable that they would decide to stay together when the finale aired tonight, but not so fast.
Suddenly on the finale, Wendt is having second thoughts and is suffering from a serious case of Fantasy suite PTSD. After all this isn’t Kevin’s first trip to this rodeo and things get all too real when the couple has the chance to stay as a couple in the famous Fantasy Suites.
As part one of the finale ends it appears that the couple are done and when Astrid sits in the After Paradise armchair she laments about how devastated she was by Kevin’s shocking change of heart.
Chris Harrison brings Kevin on stage and Kevin does a 180 again, gushing about his feelings for Astrid. We then learn that the couple is presently working on things.
And in an interview on The Domenick Nati Show Loch revealed that she and Wendt have continued to date after the show.
“We are dating, but I think we’re trying to just stay for now and not kind of rush it. The process in Paradise definitely puts a lot of pressure on you a little bit, and it definitely gave him a little bit of cold feet. So we’re just trying to date like normal people in the real world for a little bit.”
