Reno began her modelling career at 13 years old working for Elite Model Management. She has modeled in Tokyo, Europe, South Africa, and New York during high school. At 18 she moved to LA to pursue a modelling and acting career.

Her first claim to fame was her well publicized relationship with banking heir Matthew Mellon in 2004. The two met at the Playboy Mansion and were engaged but the engagement ended in 2008.

Reno lived with ex fiancee Matthew Mellon in Eaton Place. After the two broke up he sued her for the return of jewellery And won.
