We continue to get more details about the circumstances surrounding 52-year-old Real estate tycoon Scot Young and his tragic death on Monday evening. Scot starred on the Bravo show Ladies of London over the summer with fiancée Noelle Reno, 31.
The DailyMail just confirmed that the two broke up two weeks before his death, via a close friend. They split during the week of November 24, even though they were pictured together on November 27 at a London event to celebrate a series of photographs taken by Mikhail Baryshnikov.
The two had been living together in the apartment for months according to neighbors. And even after the break-up the two decided to remain living together in the $4.7 million London penthouse. Noelle was in the process of making plans to move back to the U.S.
The source told MailOnline: ‘Things were civil and they were getting along, Noelle just couldn’t cope with the pressures of being with Scot – he was still very much living the millionaire’s lifestyle without any of the money to back it up.”
“Noelle couldn’t continue to stand by Scot and let her own career slide. She was getting more and more offers to work in the States and was considering a move back to the U.S.”
The friend also said: “It didn’t sound like it was leading up to this, there was no huge drama in the past few weeks, it was more like a logical decision they both came up with.”
Interesting. I imagine Noelle could also not handle having to hide from the limelight with Scot especially considering how he needed to live a much more modest lifestyle in light of his claims about being broke. Stay tuned…
