Tonight Denver software sales rep 26-year-old Bachelor Ben Higgins proposed to 25-year-old Alaska Airlines flight attendant Lauren Bushnell in Jamaica.
Ben made the difficult decision to let one amazing lady go after consulting with his parents, God, and Neil Lane. Yes. It wasn’t until Ben met with ring designer Neil Lane that he made his final decision to propose to Lauren.
Higgins chose a three-carat, emerald-cut diamond set in platinum worth an estimated $100,000 for his new fiancee. Thank you ABC!!!
He called Lauren’s dad David Bushnell to ask for her hand in marriage and shockingly David approved.
“Lauren, I never wanna say goodbye to you,” Ben tells her. “I wanna wake up every morning and kiss you on the face. I wanna go to bed at night and know that in the morning I’m gonna wake up to the most beautiful woman that I’ve ever laid eyes on. My desire from here on out is live for you, commit to you, love you, hold you, kiss you a lot. Lauren, I want to spend the rest of my life with you.”

On AFTR Ben and Lauren claimed to be very much in love and insisted that they wanted to get married “soon”! Lauren is moving to Denver in a few weeks.
