Bachelor contestant Carly Waddell starred on Chris Soules season of The Bachelor earlier this year. The 29-year-old actress/singer from Arlington, Texas did not win the heart of Chris but she did win the hearts of fans with her sweet soulful personality and her amazing singing voice. And she is back to star on Bachelor in Paradise to continue her search for love.
So she has been filming Bachelor in Paradise season 2, (which started filming Thursday, June 4th and ended Wednesday, June 24th) but the funny thing is she missed her brother’s wedding to be on the show!
We have truly hit a new low in civilization when we put a short stint on a reality show over a family member’s wedding, but who am I to talk, I schedule my whole life around the Bachelor/ette franchise. And what the heck was Zak doing scheduling a wedding during BiP anyway?

So anyhow remember Carly’s handsome older brother?—none other than 33-year-old Zak Waddell from Desiree Hartsock’s season — well you do not need to worry about him being heartbroken over Desiree anymore because he just married the hottest girl ever — longtime girlfriend Elizabeth Coulon (hmmm I wonder how “longtime?). The two married on June 13 in Ireland. And his good pal and Bachelor Nation alum Ben Scott was there with his new fiancée Lindsay Higgins to share in the momentous event.
