Are Sean Lowe and Catherine Giudici faking it for the cameras?

On Jan. 26, 2014 Sean Lowe, 29, and Catherine Giudici, 27, will tie  the knot in a televised ABC special. The event will be the first successful Bachelor wedding to emerge from The Bachelor franchise–ever!

After 17 seasons of The Bachelor ABC has yet to show one successful marriage! (Of course Bachelorettes have shown far more success with the wedding of Ashley Hebert and Trista Sutter).

So in other words this wedding is important to ABC to maintain a little credibility. So is it crazy to suggest the the wedding may be a fraud?

I suppose there are a lot of different possibilities with this theory–as in ABC may be ‘in on it’ to promote the show, Sean and Catherine may also be doing it for the cash and self-promotional reasons sans ABC knowledge.

So let’s examine the evidence:

1: THE MONEY!

The two are getting a nice chunk of change to marry in front of the Bachelor Nation…..

A $250,000 chunk to be exact. Not bad for 1 day.

2: Sean’s family wanted Sean to call it off early on:

The report according to InTouch Weekly, claims Sean Lowe’s mother Sherry is encouraging Sean to call it off. The magazine reported that after several instances of Catherine crying and fighting with Sean in public, he sought out advice from his mom who “said it isn’t right for Catherine to pick fights with him over his career, and maybe they shouldn’t go through with the wedding.” In fact, the insider claims Sean’s parents are “begging him to rethink everything.”

3: Sean’s sister’s cryptic blog:  Shay’s blog had some rather cryptic messages right after the two were engaged suggesting she didn’t want to “be negative” so she wasn’t going to say anything.

Here is the excerpt from Shay’s blog right after the finale aired:

“Our experience with the Bachelorette and Bachelor was nothing but positive.  …

As for the future…I’m just doing what I always do…I’m praying for my brother and his new relationship.  I’m praying for him to always trust in the Lord with all of his heart and live a life that pleases Him.”

4: Sean’s family didn’t attend his engagement party in Seattle late September amid rumors that Catherine isn’t Christian enough.

5: The relationship was on life support:

We were hearing a lot of rumblings that Catherine Giudici and Sean Lowe’s brand new relationship was on life-support. Us Weekly claimed that the 27 year-old graphic designer was “bored and lonely” since relocating to L.A. to be with Sean Lowe during his stint on Dancing With the Stars.

6: Sean seems gay: Check out the Sean Lowe Gay Conspiracy

Sean Lowe’s born again virginity may provide a good cover for why the two can’t be intimate.

7: Catherine and Sean reports of fighting:

Life & Style reported eyewitnesses spotted Sean Lowe and Catherine Giudici fighting publicly at The Sayers Club in Los Angeles back in March while celebrating Sean’s  first Dancing with the Stars performance– and again just two nights later while walking back to their apartment complex where they have separate apartments.

“About an hour after they arrived, Sean and Catherine were in a corner, and she was clearly mad at him, yelling at him” .

“Sean was trying to talk to her, but she didn’t want to hear it. She was fed up with him and rolled her eyes. Then she started crying, wiping her eyes and looking away from him. She was shaking her head and hands at him.”

8: Body language expert claims the relationship is fake:

HollywoodLife.com’s body language expert Dr. Lilian Glass and she weighed in and said this about Sean and Catherine’s relationship

Here is what the expert said:

“It’s over-the-top on Catherine’s part,” Dr. Glass tells us. “Her facial response is stiff and non-emotional. It may work for a while but I cant see it lasting. It is also so superficial with her saying he is handsome and she is beautiful. She also wiped a fake tear from her cheek, it seemed contrived.”

I have thought the body language is suspect for some time. Catherine is never facing Sean. Her body language is tight around him, not warm and open.

So, is this relationship real? I have my doubts, but only time will tell.

  1. 1. Many devout Christians choose to remain abstinent prior to marriage. There is nothing gay about it. I am a single female and have been abstinent for the last 10 years. While it is not easy, by any stretch of the imagination, I believe it is what God has called me to do. This practice is taught by Catholics , evangelical Christians and Muslims. It may be weird to you, but it is actually common among religious teachings.
    2. As an evangelical Christian pastor, Sean’s father would in no way conduct a marriage ceremony if he did not condone the marriage. He would most likely opt out to Chris Harrison or someone else saying nothing publicly. Make no mistake though, he would opt out before conducting what an evangelical Christian believes to be a holy ceremony before God because he is accountable to God.
    3. Sean and Catherine made no bones about the fact that their relationship was rocky when he was on dancing with the stars. I believe the relationship has grown from that point.
    4. Sean’s father would not have participated in Catherine’s baptism had he not thought she was sincere. More than likely (and I am guessing) Catherine was not an evangelical Christian when she met Sean (although I have seen reports that she attended an evangelical church in Seattle, I do not know if that was before or after the engagement). In any event, all one has to do is believe that Jesus Christ died for their sins and have a personal relationship with Him. Evidently, Catherine has made this commitment. Sean’s family believes Catherine is sincere because of her recent baptism.

Who knows if the relationship will last. Like all marriages they will have their ups and downs. It will be their relationship with God that sustains them. All marriages take work, commitment and prayer to be happy, committed relationships.

    • Hi Catherine, we in no way meant to offend you as a devout Christian. I am sorry if I have offended you. I was merely posing some questions. The Sean and Catherine relationship seems weird to me. Now I have no doubt Sean and Jay his dad have the utmost integrity, but I am just wondering if maybe behind the scenes these two got locked into a contract or agreed to get married a while ago on ABC and things spun out of control…yada yada yada…..I mean we know producers produce and they may have been really desperate to present a successful couple.

That said…I hope I am wrong and you are right!!!
