Elizabeth Noelle Reno, star of Bravo’s new reality show Ladies of London is a businesswoman, designer and TV presenter, but like many of these women, she is perhaps best known for her relationships.
The 30-year-old American model/socialite from Seattle was engaged to banking magnet Matthew Mellon in 2004 but the engagement ended in 2008.
Now she is involved with another controversial U.K. businessman and is involved in one of the most caustic divorces in Britain’s history–the divorce between 51-year-old Scot Young and 48-year-old former fashion mogul wife Michelle.
Noelle has been in a relationship with the controversial former real estate tycoon and now ex-convict Scot Young for 5 years.
Scot’s wife Michelle is understandably fighting hard to get her “fair share” of Scot’s fortune. Scot however insists that he is “broke” and lost his fortune in a disastrous real estate deal and that 30 year old Noelle is supporting him and has been for the last 5 years.
Michelle contends that he hid his fortune in order to avoid paying child support and alimony to her and their two daughters. She claims that she had to move from their mansion to a modest rental flat. (These white collar criminals ALWAYS know how to hide their money offshore).
Noelle has been involved in the battle since she has been dating Young and contends that SHE is supporting him. Noelle has even been deposed in court over the money.
I know, it’s pretty hard to swallow that this young socialite is supporting her newly broke real estate mogul. Reno also appears to be quite a social climber on the show. She even consults with American model Caprice about how she used her sex appeal to climb her way to the top of London’s social scene. No doubt the details of this epic situation will play a major role on season 1 of Ladies of London.
UPDATE: 12/10/2014 Scot Young dead after tragic fall
Noelle dumped Young in December 2012 just as Young entered prison. He was sentenced to six months in prison for failing to produce documents demanded by the court. Noelle visited him during his time in HMP Pentonville.
More on why Scot went to prison
And she was waiting for Scot when he was released after only three months. Lucky for us Ladies of London began shooting last May, so the cameras were there for the reconciliation, and move into a Marylebone flat–perfect timing Bravo! This should be an amazing situation!
Looks like Scot Young’s ex-wife recently received a settlement from the court—and she is NOT happy.
