Are Jamie Otis and Doug Hehner still together?!! – Ok! Here's the Situation

Jamie Otis shocked even us this year when she starred on fyi’s new and very controversial show ‘Married at First Sight’. The 27-year-old Registered Nurse from Dryden, New York scared Ben Flajnik by coming on a tad bit too strong on the 2012 season of The Bachelor.

She also came on super strong to Bachelorette cast-off Chris Bukowski on Bachelor Pad so it was no secret that Jamie Otis was looking to get married so I guess we should not be shocked that she placed all of her faith in experts to find her a life partner in 5 weeks on another reality show. But when this show premiered she had a serious meltdown when she first “saw” her future husband 31-year-old commercial sales rep Doug Hehner as she walked down the aisle.

In fact the premiere was cringe-worthy because Jamie did not exactly hide her disappointment as she squinted her eyes and grimaced every time her new husband even touched her. She even proclaimed: “I’m not attracted to him at all.”

But things got a lot better. The two went on their Honeymoon to St. Thomas where things started off a little rough but quickly improved as they got to know one another.

By the end of their honeymoon the new couple was spooning (no sex). So the two lovebirds return to NY and get a new apartment in Harlem where Jamie starts to worry that her new feelings for him may not be reciprocated.

In fact tonight when Jamie prepares to meet the folks she says:

“It wasn’t an instantaneous thing, but I am falling for him.”

But the couple also struggles with their conflicting schedules since Doug works 9-5 and Jamie works late shifts as a nurse.

Doug’s family is also quite skeptical of Jamie after her mega meltdown at the wedding ceremony and who could blame them! And Jamie has serious shame issues with her families background in poverty.

But luckily the couple has overcome all of these obstacles and is still together.

A family member posted on another site that they are happy and are thinking of starting their own family–probably a family member who did not read their contract!
