We are still reeling from the big news yesterday that Bachelorette Andi Dorfman and Josh Murray have decided to breakup. The couple made it seem like everything was moving smoothly ahead to a wedding date but it looks like behind the scenes there was trouble. And we know that the Murray’s are a VERY close family and although mom Lauren is Jewish and dad Dennis is a Jesuit Catholic their faith in God is incredibly important to them. And it looks like they are looking to their faith to help them deal with this very public breakup. Josh Murray’s mom Lauren Murray posted to Facebook:
“Yes it’s true, Andi & Josh have chosen to break off their engagement. Although there was no one thing that precipitated their decision, they were thoughtful & wise in their decision and I’m happy they figured this out before getting married & having kids.”
“I know we all wanted the storybook ending but I trust The Lord has an even better journey for each of them and that makes my heart happy. Thank you for your love and messages. I’m overwhelmed & humbled by your words. XO”

Josh’s post showed displayed the silhouette of a man kneeling with one arm lifted to the sky in prayer.
“Lord, help me to have faith in your plan.”
Well, I hope Josh is also in a big cozy armchair confiding in Chris Harrison who is the consummate professional in ALL situations especially tough ones like these.
