Chris Soules on his regrets about Britt Nilsson

The Women Tell All, Monday night was pretty enlightening. Chris Soules has been one of the most open Bachelors in Bachelor history. Monday he faced 17 of the 30 women he dated and rejected and he did admit to one regret he had about contestant Britt Nilsson. He told PEOPLE magazine:

“I know that I did my best,” …..”Yeah, there’s hurt feelings in any relationship when you break up, and these girls needed closure, but I never did anything to blatantly disrespect any of them. I feel like I gave them all of the respect that I could have possibly given them.”

“Watching the show back and watching the Big & Rich concert, me taking Britt – the cocktail portion of the date – maybe I could have handled that differently.”

But he also says: “the world didn’t see the entire conversation that we had, and we had a positive discussion that wasn’t at all about her reacting during the group date,” adding that they left on “relatively good terms.”

Britt was visibly very upset at the taping and claimed she still had strong feelings for Chris despite flipping back and forth on the show. “Still, to this day, I was honest with her. She apologized and I accepted her apology, but I don’t really … we just did the best we could, and it wasn’t there.”

It definitely didn’t look like “it was there” on the show…at least on Britt’s end so what’s up with all of these sudden “feelings”? My guess is Britt saw the WTA as an opportunity to audition for the Bachelorette and wanted to appear sympathetic to viewers, but I think she kind of overdid it and came off a bit hysterical, unstable and unpredictable.

I thought it was funny how she was crying uncontrollably over the breakup, then asks Chris what happened, then she casually says something to the effect of…”ok I get it”….like problem resolved, all is good now, I am now ready to move on and start dating again producers–hint hint!

I have a feeling we have not seen the last of her. Stay tuned! Britt Nilsson as gotta go to Bachelor in Paradise.
