What is Bachelor contestant Caila Quinn’s ethnicity?
You may have to do a double take this season of The Bachelor because one contestant bares a striking resemblance to previous Bachelor winner Catherine Giudici. And one thing the two have in common is that they are both half filipino — both on the mother’s side.
Caila is 23 years-old from Wellesley Hills, Massachusetts. Her parents just moved to Akron, Ohio from Boston, Massachusetts for her father work.
Father Chris Quinn, 50, is Caucasian but has lived all over the world. He was born in Brazil and lived in Mexico as a child. He is German/Irish/Swiss.

But Caila’s mother Rosanna Quinn, is full filipino and absolutely stunning. She and her family immigrated to the Cleveland Ohio suburb of Warrensville Heights from the Philippines when she was only 7 years old.

Caila also has a younger brother, Chris Jr., 20, who is presently studying abroad in Peru.

And interestingly, Caila also studied abroad. She speaks German and she spent her Junior year in Germany teaching English.
She is very proud of her heritage and was very actively involved in the Philippine Society at Boston College.
And in 2011 she won an Asian Fashion Supermodel Competition in Boston.
I think if Caila does not win the final rose she has a great shot at becoming the next Bachelorette— provided she doesn’t become too much of a situation this season.
