Wow, the 2016 season of The Bachelor has not even ended yet but ABC has already chosen their Bachelorette for the 2016 season. Boston software sales person/Bolly X fitness instructor Caila Quinn aka the “sex panther” will lead the 2016 season.
The 24-year-old did not land a rose in Jamaica, but she may have landed something even better! — a second chance compliments of ABC.
Caila shockingly managed to stay out of any major drama on the show — I actually expected a lot more drama from her — especially since an insider contacted us before the cast for The Bachelor had even been announced telling us her ex boyfriend was shocked to learn she would star on The Bachelor since she did not break up with him until late July (contrary to what Caila says on the show).
I thought the two may get back together when she left the show. But I also thought Caila was angling for The Bachelorette from the get go.
Let’s be honest, her and Ben had nothing in common, much like Kaitlyn and Ben. Not to mention Caila kept giving Ben cryptic messages suggesting she was just not feeling’ it with him.
And despite the temperate and mild-mannered edit she got on the show, Caila is a wild girl and she likes the spotlight like her predecessor Kaitlyn Bristowe. In fact I fully expect the “sex panther” to have some “off camera” time like Bachelorette Kaitlyn.
She will be fun to watch, but I have a hard time believing that young Caila will find a life partner on the 2016 season because I have a hard time believing that young Caila is looking for a life partner at this stage in her life — as opposed to a career in the limelight….but we shall see.
Caila will be the first semi-ethnic Bachelorette. Her mother Rosanna Quinn, is full filipino and absolutely gorgeous. Rosanna and her family immigrated to the Cleveland Ohio suburb of Warrensville Heights from the Philippines when she was only 7 years old.
UPDATE 3/14/2016: OOPS! ABC changed their mind after Ben’s epic season of The Bachelor and how could they not. Everyone fell head over heels in love with Jojo Fletcher. Typically ABC does not pick the runner up for Bachelorette but they changed their minds!
