Newcomer Adela King, 42 joins season 3 of Ladies of London along with her very wealthy and well known husband, UK businessman 45-year-old Chester King.
So who is Chester King?
Well to start he is famous for running the family business—a business that has had total revenues of around £3.5 billon over the past 30 years.
So we are talking real money here. He runs, International Group, along with his two brothers, Hertford 49, and Witney 48. The company boasts annual revenues of £30 million to £100 million ($45 million to $150 million) each year.
International Group is perhaps most famous for their purchase of the very beloved and historic Stoke Park in Buckinghamshire, England in 1988.
Additionally, (IHG) has completed over over 500 healthcare projects, residential, commercial, club, hotel and leisure projects in 52 countries around the world for numerous VIP clients, including 22 national governments, the United Nations, the World Bank, and the International Monetary Fund.
The business was started by their father Roger King in 1964.
Roger got his start as a jeweler, and later became the world wide distributor for the Soviet Union’s polished diamonds.
So understandably Chester has always been immersed in London’s high society. He attended school with the husband of Claudia Schiffer, Matthew Vaughn and the two are still friends and are in business together. Chester is on the Advisory Board for MARV Films which is owned by Matthew Vaughn.
And low and behold the production company produced some movies in Stoke Park like Layer Cake.
King also has connections to the Abu Dhabi Royal family and is involved in property deals with Sheik Suroor bin Mohammed Al Nahya.
And he was pals with Valentino who designed Adela’s wedding dress.
Sounds pretty intriguing and perhaps a bit scandalous.
You can meet Adela and her hubby on November 29th, 2016 when season 3 premieres!
