Colton Underwood finale comes down to Hannah Godwin and Tayshia Adams
Tonight’s episode of The Bachelor will begin where last weeks left off….with Chris Harrison and the entire production crew of the show on a manhunt in Portugal to find their lead. Colton Underwood jumped a fence last week and high tailed it into the woods after his number one choice, Cassie Randolph, walked off under the instruction of her father.
The good news about the Bachelor is that if your number one choice walks off there is always a number two and sometimes number 3 choice available. The bad news is that if you actually had your sights set on one girl and she leaves, you are SOL and still under a lot of pressure to choose a girl that you don’t really want.
Now if Colton chooses either Hannah Godwin or Tayshia Adams it will be incredibly anti-climatic because last week they showed footage of Colton letting Cassie know that she was THE ONE.
Thus, I don’t believe that he will choose either girl. He will either pursue Cassie or will pull a Brad Womack and choose no one.
Recall Colton telling Cassie:
“if it’s not with the person at the end of this I feel the strongest for and the most potential with, then it’s not worth it.”
To which Cassie replied:
” I love you so much. But I couldn’t, after today, I’m not in love. You know what I mean? I don’t know why after today I’m not. I just feel like I’m having doubts about it. I don’t know why I’m so confused. I just feel like there’s a lot to think about.”
Cassie did leave the door open last week saying she didn’t know if she was making the right choice.
Considering that Colton decided to forgo the Fantasy Suites with Hannah G. and did not “perform” in the Fantasy Suites with Tayshia, it’s hard to imagine this season ending with a Neil Lane engagement ring.
