So, yesterday I posted about my suspicions that former Bachelor Ben Flajnik and Courtney Robertson are broken up. And I still think they might be. But then I came to another possible conclusion about what Ben’s cryptic tweet about a Courtney-and-Ben update might be: Maybe Courtney Robertson is prepping to be on the upcoming season of Bachelor Pad 3, which starts filming next week!
Here’s Ben’s cryptic tweet, from Friday, June 1:
I know I’m late to the new season of The Bachelorette but I will be watching on Monday with everyone. Also, some updates from Courtney and myself to follow 🙂 Have a great weekend everyone!
Now, they could still be broken up / in the process of breaking up, but, either way, it just occurred to me that Courtney would of course want to do Bachelor Pad 3. Why? First, because the enneagram personality type 3 (again) LOVES the spotlight. And second, remember how BP2 contestant Michelle Money used the show to redeem herself? Whether it’s just Courtney wanting to redeem herself for herself, as a single lady, or whether her and Ben are still together and she wants to redeem herself for THEM as a couple, it just makes perfect sense. Originally, I was thinking there’d be NO WAY we’d ever seen Ben and/or Courtney on any of the Bachelor franchise shows again, because Ben was pretty adamant about not participating in any post-finale interviews, etc…and, in general, seemed to kind of stick his nose up about the show and about the attention (I think he’d HAD IT after the ringer the media and the public put him and Courtney through as Season 16 of The Bachelor was airing). But, they really didn’t stay away for long. Shortly after the finale wrapped, the two of them were saying YES to free trips to Puerto Vallarta and hosting pool parties in Las Vegas, etc. So, yes…now I am back to thinking Courtney absolutely would say yes to ABC if they offered her a spot on the cast of Bachelor Pad 3. Whether single or still with Ben, I bet we’re going to see her try (and, likely, fail) to redeem herself by TRYING to act nice on The Pad.

This is not really a comment about your suspicion, but I wanted to let you know that some of your polls don’t work in Firefox. After I select my poll answer, I get the error message “Please choose a valid poll answer.” And then I yell at the computer, “I DID choose a valid poll answer!”
Thanks, ChezJulie! We are looking into it. It’s only happening with our most recent poll — likely because the poll is replicated in the left sidebar (where it actually does work). Weird poll plugin snafu! 🙂
