Jordan Rodgers older brother Luke discusses Aaron’s estrangement from the family

Monday night’s episode of The Bachelorette was filled with family dysfunction and drama.

27-year-old Jojo Fletcher travelled to Jordan Rodger’s Hometown of Chico, California to meet Jordan’s family and to officially address the 2 year riff between him and his very famous brother Aaron Rodgers.

When Jojo and Jordan were visiting Jordan’s high school …. and his glory days, JoJo points out a photo of Aaron on the wall.

“You could tell Jordan just didn’t really want to talk about it and that it hurts him to bring it up,” JoJo told cameras.

“It doesn’t need to be a topic,” Jordan said. “I’ll just tell them we talked about it, and yeah.”

Umm have you seen The Bachelorette Jordan?–where we dive into years of family dysfunction. If there is a pink elephant in the room it WILL be addressed on camera.

So interestingly it turns out that Aaron is also not talking to older brother Luke Rodgers. I think that is significant because it suggests that it is less about Jordan’s behavior and more about Aaron’s–shockingly!

“It’s something we don’t really like to talk about a lot. It pains both of us not to have that relationship,” Luke tells JoJo. “We miss our brother. We just are trusting that God brings things full circle. And just wish that everything would just get back to us being a family.”

The mystery deepens! I guess we will have to save that situation for another day, but Jeez! What is it?

In the meantime both Luke, as well as father Ed Rodgers, defended Jordan’s integrity. Dad makes a rather cryptic comment about “fame”….describing The Bachelorette process as a “weird environment,” (WHAAT!!!!?) and saying…..”Fame can change you, but one thing I know about Jordan, he’s so strong-willed and that’s not going to change him in anyway”

Jojo confidently replies, “I know who Jordan is. And I know who he is to me. He is nobody’s brother. He is a man that I am falling in love with and I am crazy about.”

Really Jojo?

Jordan conceded that it would have been “nice” to introduce JoJo to Aaron. “I miss my brother a lot, especially in moments like this because my family means so much.”

The Bachelorette airs Mondays at 8 p.m. on ABC.
