The ex-boyfriend or girlfriend situation is always one of our favorites. Anyone can look good onscreen with some great ABC editing but for every contestant on The Bachelor or Bachelorette there is an ex somewhere who was either dumped by that person or dumped them.

According to HollywoodLife, 27-year-old Andi Dorfman dumped her boyfriend right before going on The Bachelor. In fact Andi broke up with him when she found out she was cast on the show which is one more reason she may have been so angry at Juan Pablo for not taking the job of Bachelor seriously and not acknowledging all the things contestants “gave up” to be there.
Andi had been dating professional football player John Busing, 30, of Alpharetta, GA for four years when she broke up with him.
According to HL and their source, he was actually devastated when they split and thought they were going to get married. Busing was a professional athlete — he went from Miami University to the Cincinnati Bengals, the Houston Texans, then the New York Giants.
And apparently according to Life & Style John was her first real boyfriend.
