Who is Jax Taylor’s girlfriend Tiffany Matthews?
So we have known that Jax Taylor the 34 year-old actor/model on Vanderpump Rules apparently had a mysterious girlfriend while season 2 of the show was being taped last year and that he has been involved in an epic love triangle for about a year now.
In fact, if you recall on season 2 of Vanderpump Rules, Bravo showed Stassi and the girls confronting Jax over changing his relationship status online at an end-of-season SUR photo shoot. Jax claimed that he was dating a girl that he met on Twitter.

So everyone was scrambling to figure out who she was. We broke the story thanks to an insider who let us know that this mystery girl was 28-year-old brunette Tiffany Matthews, an Event and Logisitics Manager for the Hyde Bellagio in Las Vegas, Nevada. Tiffany manages and coordinates big Buyout and Private Events at the popular hotel.
She is from Irvine California and she is half Asian. Tiffany’s parents and younger sister Ashley all live in Los Angeles.
Tiffany Mei-Ju Matthews was born February 21, 1986, in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.
Her mother is Frances Chiang and and her father is Warren Matthews.
Tiffany Matthews was a swimmer at LMU.
She graduated from University High School in Irvine, CA in 2004.
The two actually did NOT meet on Twitter as Jax claimed. They met at the Bellagio at a party Tiffany was throwing and continued talking on Twitter.
The two dated from summer of 2013 to January 2014 and Jax did not really even hide her. He was posting pics of him and her on Instagram until producers intervened to protect the shows ending. Our source told us:
“He continued to date her until January. He even admitted to the public that he didn’t mention her because her privacy was important to her. He took her on a very romantic getaway to Mexico in the fall and viewers started asking. He said he wanted to protect her privacy.”
The source claimed that Tiffany was well-liked by Jax and his inner-circle of friends:

“Jax really liked her. It came to an abrupt halt, literally the day after the reunion taping. He didn’t break up with her until a couple of weeks later, when the news of him and Carmen hanging out surfaced. She was led to believe that they were still together and she was waiting for his return to Las Vegas. He then had to call and break things off.”
As we know Jax and Tiffany have been on and off for some time. They only officially broke things off about a month ago.
The previews show Jax embroiled in a love affair with 2 women and one of those women is Tiffany. The other is of course Carmen who will likely be a server on season 3.
