The cast of Vanderpump Rules has become famous for their impulsive tattoo decisions. We know that they all have at least one tattoo and Scheana Shay and Kristen Doute even have matching tattoos. Tom Sandoval and Tom Schwartz just got tattoos on their right butt cheeks to express their undying love for their girlfriends and Jax Taylor is one never-ending tattoo situation, but what about Katie Maloney?
Katie has a tattoo on her inner arm with a mysterious date on it 11/09/09. So what does that date mean to her?
Turns out Katie actually put a lot of thought in to her tat. She explained the scary story that prompted her to get the tattoo on Instagram.

“A lot of you have asked what the tattoo in my arm signifies. It’s a date 11/09/09. I was in an accident on this day. I fell through a sky light a total of 25 feet. I don’t remember falling but I did suffer multiple injuries. I broke my jaw, lost some teeth, broke my collar bone and several ribs. I also suffered a small brain injury. I’m very lucky and I am a different person today because of that day. I now call it my re-birthday. Don’t take anything for granted, life is special.”
