I actually did not even realize that 31-year-old Peter Madrigal was officially a cast member this season since all we see him of him is him sitting quietly while Lisa Vanderpump grills the other cast members.
So the cast recently go a HUGE raise from $5,000 for an entire season to $5,000 an episode–not bad. Actually, they were paid $3K/episode for Season 2, and $5K/episode for Season 3. But Vanderpump Rules star Peter Madrigal thinks the cast is still getting short-changed.
Peter recently told TMZ that the high ratings justify $10K an episode.
He also told them that he did not care about flying coach.
I think Bravo is in a tough position. If cast members are suddenly bringing in $200,000 a season then how are we supposed to buy that they are restaurant servers? And struggling actors? They may be self-sabotaging by taking the struggle out of the actors which would in turn make them much less interesting to watch.
